I hold a Bachelors degree in English and Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Health.

I have a employment background working in multiple fields including Therapeutic Recreation, Executive Assistant / Office Manager for a University program and a clinic, tutoring, and Substitute teaching.

My most recent position was as an Assistant Director for a University Center.

I resigned knowing that I always wanted to be a stay at home mom for my baby when I had one.

I am so happy for the work from home direct selling opportunites that have allowed me to continue to contribute to my family income.

With hard work, it is my goal to continue to grow my businesses. Even if I return to the traditional workforce when my little one starts preschool, I will continue to manage these businesses on the side and enjoy the benefits.

For right now, I love having my son with me all day. I take him with me when distributing business information and delivering orders but I do most things on-line including managing my on-line stores with no need to deliver items to customers in person.

If You Like This, You'll Love This - Nurtura Face Cream

One of the types of articles I'll feature on this blog will follow the theme, "If you like this, you'll love this." I think of various products that I used to very much enjoy using but have since replaced with Avon products. I do need to support my own business by being my own best customer after all:-). I must say that I have honestly never looked back since making my household an 'Avon household'. The products are excellent and I am never disappointed. The products are also so much more inexpensive than the majority of products I used to use. So, I'm really happy to share this "If you like this, you'll love this" advice.

Here is the first installment;) -

Last week, I ordered the Nurtura Replenishing face cream at $3.99. The regular price is $8.99. I was so pleased with this purchase. It comes in lovely packaging, an orange jar and when you open the jar, the cream is not white but rather has a pink hue. It smells and feels great. What it reminds me of is Oil of Olay face cream. If you like Oil of Olay face cream you will also equally like and probably love Nurtura Replenishing cream.

White hot summer - my Avon purchase for today

Today I purchased the "studs galore satchel", product #440-131 getgoodsavings.com This is a large white studded and braided bag that immediately caught my eye. I will like using it for summer. I don't really like using large diaper bags for baby's things but I do like using a large trendy handbag for them and mine. This bag will be a good fit for me. Well worth the cost at $39.99. I love the versatility of the white color that I can pair with a variety of outfits during the summer months.
